Our verdict

Best for traders who want an established US-based brand, no activation fee and either a one-day pass (Signature) or daily payouts with no funded consistency rule (E8 Zero). Payout caps, the four-payout limit per account and Tradovate as the only platform are the main trade-offs.

Best for

  • ✓Traders who want daily payouts with no consistency rule once funded (E8 Zero)
  • ✓Traders who want to pass a futures challenge in one day (E8 Signature)
  • ✓Traders who want an always-available discount code and frequent promotions

Not ideal for

  • ✕Traders who use NinjaTrader, Rithmic or other platforms: Tradovate is the only futures platform
  • ✕Traders who want to grow one account for a long time: each account pays out at most 4 times
  • ✕Traders who want a 90% split on standard accounts

How E8 Futures works

E8 Futures is the futures program of E8 Markets (formerly E8 Funding), which also runs forex, CFD and perpetuals products. E8 calls its evaluation the SimFi Challenge and its funded stage the SimFi Performance account. Every challenge is one phase, a one-time fee with no activation fee and no time limit, and every account uses an end-of-day drawdown. There are two futures products:

E8 SignatureE8 Zero (Starter / Max)
Challenge consistencyNone, pass in 1 day40% best-day rule (3 days minimum)
Funded consistency35% best-day ruleNone
Funded daily limit2% daily pauseNone

List price$120–$450$128–$438 / $228–$1,088

Funded traders keep 80%, and E8 Zero offers up to 100% through a checkout option. Each account allows a maximum of 4 payouts (5 for accounts bought before October 1, 2026); after that the account closes and you receive a free challenge of the same size. The code E8 is always available on a first order.

E8 Futures rules

E8 Signature rules

AccountProfit targetEOD drawdownDaily pause (funded)Max contracts
$25K$1,500$1,000$5002
$50K$3,000$2,000$1,0004
$100K$6,000$3,000$2,0008
$150K$9,000$4,000$3,00012

The challenge has no consistency rule and no daily limit, so you can pass in one day. Once funded, a 2% daily pause stops trading for the rest of the day without failing the account. The 150K drawdown is $4,000 for accounts bought since October 1, 2026 ($4,500 before).

E8 Zero rules

E8 Zero challenge targets are $1,500, $3,000, $6,500 and $9,000 (plus $13,500 on the 200K Max), with EOD drawdowns of $1,000, $1,500, $3,000 and $3,990 ($6,000 on 200K). No single day may exceed 40% of your profit in the challenge, so the earliest pass is in three days. Once funded there is no consistency rule, no minimum trading days and no daily profit cap. E8 Zero accounts must place a trade at least every 7 days; Signature accounts every 60 days.

Drawdown and other rules

  • EOD dynamic drawdown: follows your highest end-of-day balance, updates once a day at the close and locks at the initial balance.
  • Trading hours: positions are closed automatically each day (15:10 CT on E8 Zero).
  • News trading is allowed on both products, though E8 warns about slippage.
  • Copy trading is allowed between accounts you own, including personal accounts; hedging across accounts is prohibited.
  • Account limits: unlimited challenges; up to 5 Signature or 3 E8 Zero funded accounts per household.

E8 Futures payout rules

E8 Signature: after your first payout you need 5 profitable days (0.3% of the balance each, for example $150 on 50K) between payouts, no day above 35% of total profit, and a buffer equal to your drawdown that can never be withdrawn. Only profit from the current cycle counts. Caps for accounts bought since October 1, 2026:

AccountPayouts 1–2Payouts 3–4
$25K$1,000$1,250
$50K$1,250$2,000
$100K$2,000$3,000
$150K$3,000$3,500

E8 Zero: request a payout every day from $100, with caps of $600, $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 (Starter, 25K–150K) and $1,500, $3,000, $5,000 or $7,000 (Max, 25K–200K). Each cycle pays only from profit made in that cycle.

Payouts go through Rise, WorkMarket (bank transfer) or Aeropay for US bank accounts. You must be able to complete Rise or WorkMarket KYC to be paid.

Is E8 Futures legit?

E8 Markets was founded in 2021 as E8 Funding and has offices in Dallas, Texas. It says more than 300,000 clients have registered and reports more than $79 million paid to traders across its products. It describes itself as a simulated trading platform, not a broker: it takes no deposits, and futures market data comes from the CME. Its futures rules are published in a dedicated help center, which we used for this review. Refunds are only possible on untraded challenges within 30 days.

Who E8 Futures is for

E8 Futures suits traders who want a one-time fee with no activation fee from an established US-based firm. Choose E8 Signature if you can pass quickly and want larger later payouts, or E8 Zero if you want daily payouts with no funded consistency rule, with Max for higher caps. Look elsewhere if you need a platform other than Tradovate, want a 90% split, or plan to keep one funded account running indefinitely.
