Key findings
9 of the 15 futures prop firms we track offer daily payouts on at least one plan.
11 of 15 futures firms offer at least one evaluation with no consistency rule; all 6 forex firms do.
Consistency rules cap the best trading day at between 15% and 55% of profit; 40% is the most common threshold.
A 50K futures evaluation has a median list price of $170 at firms that charge a one-time fee and $129 per month at firms that charge a subscription.
5 of 15 futures firms charge an activation fee on at least one plan after you pass.
A 100K forex challenge costs $405 to $652 (median $539) across the 6 forex firms we track.
All 6 forex firms start funded traders at an 80% profit split; futures firms most often pay 90% (8 of 15).
In forex, consistency rules sit on payouts rather than evaluations: none of 6 forex firms require one in every evaluation, while 5 apply one to some funded payout options.
Tradovate is available at 13 of 15 futures firms; MetaTrader 5 at all 6 forex firms.
14 of 15 futures firms describe a route from the simulated funded account to a live account trading real capital.
Challenge prices
Listed evaluation prices in US dollars, before discounts. Firms that sell a one-time evaluation and firms that charge a monthly subscription are shown separately, because a monthly price repeats until you pass. Prices in euros are converted at the rate in our reviews.

Rules
A consistency rule caps how much of your profit can come from your best day. Thresholds in the rules we track run from 15% to 55% of profit, and 40% is the most common. Most firms apply them to some programs and not others, so the plan you pick decides whether one applies. Read how the consistency rule works, or see every plan without a consistency rule.

Payouts and profit splits
The profit split is the headline share you keep on a funded account. Many firms raise it with scaling plans or paid add-ons; the chart shows the starting split in our reviews.

What other research says
No central database of prop firm results exists, so pass rates and payout rates come from what individual firms and data providers choose to publish. These are the figures we consider reliable enough to cite, each linked to where it was published. They are not PropLumio data.
16.8%
of Trading Combines started in 2025 were completed (per attempt, not per trader)
51.8%

0.71%
of Topstep Express Funded traders were called up to a Live Funded Account in 2025
36%
of TradeDay traders passed the evaluation between January and June 2026

Source: Finance Magnates, March 2025
5–10%
challenge pass rate reported by The Funded Trader's CEO, with about 20% of funded traders receiving a payout

$115.1M
in crypto payouts tracked on-chain from the ten largest prop firms in Q1 2026, up 108.9% year over year
84 of 376
prop firms tracked by the DealPropFirm database were no longer active by March 2026
Pass rates are not comparable across firms: Topstep's 16.8% counts every Combine started, while 51.8% counts people, many of whom bought more than one attempt. TradeDay does not say which of the two it measures.
Methodology
The statistics cover the 15 futures and 6 forex prop firms reviewed on PropLumio. Each firm's prices, rules and payout terms were checked against its official website and help center; the sources are listed at the bottom of every review. The firms in this dataset were last verified between October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026, and we update it at least once a month.
- Prices are list prices before discount codes or sales. Where a firm sells several plans, the price is for the plan shown in our review, the same plan we score in our methodology.
- Consistency rules, payout schedules and drawdown types are counted across all of a firm's programs: "on some programs only" means at least one plan has the rule and at least one does not.
- The fastest payout schedule is the quickest regular payout any of the firm's plans offers.
- The sample is the firms we review, not the whole industry. It covers many of the largest firms, but small and new firms are underrepresented.
