Our verdict

Best for traders who want a large, established firm with static loss limits, no consistency rule on the standard payout cycle and their fee back on the 2-Step. Know the fine print before buying: only 40% of profit from trades around high-impact news counts on funded accounts, your open risk may never exceed 3%, EAs are banned on accounts from $50,000, and every payout carries a processing fee of up to 3.5%.

Best for

  • ✓Traders who want a static drawdown and no consistency rule on the default payout cycle
  • ✓Swing traders: overnight and weekend holding is allowed
  • ✓Traders who want fast payouts: rewards are processed within 24 hours or FundedNext adds $1,000

Not ideal for

  • ✕News traders: only 40% of profit around high-impact news counts on funded accounts
  • ✕Algo traders on 50K and larger accounts: EAs are not allowed there
  • ✕US traders who want MetaTrader: US clients can only use Match-Trader

How FundedNext works

FundedNext sells Stellar challenges for forex, metals, indices, energies and crypto CFDs on simulated accounts. You pay a one-time fee, pass the challenge without breaking its loss limits, complete ID verification, and then trade a FundedNext Account that pays real-money Performance Rewards for as long as you follow the rules. There is no time limit and no activation fee. FundedNext also runs a separate futures program, covered in our FundedNext Futures review.

FundedNext's website showed no sitewide discount code when we checked, but a second account in the same order is 10% off and a third 15% off. Add-ons at checkout change the rules: a Lifetime 95% reward share, no minimum trading days (6K to 25K only), a 150% fee refund, bi-weekly rewards from the start, swap-free trading, EA access and more, each at extra cost.

FundedNext rules

FundedNext Stellar 2-Step rules

The Stellar 2-Step is FundedNext's main model. You need 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2, each over at least 5 separate trading days, with a 5% daily loss and a 10% maximum loss. On a $100,000 account that means $8,000 and then $5,000, while equity never drops below $90,000. If you hit the target early, you still need the 5 days. The Phase 2 account is issued at the end of the day you pass Phase 1, and the FundedNext Account after ID checks and a risk review.

The same 5% daily and 10% maximum loss continue on the funded account, without a profit target or minimum days.

FundedNext daily loss and maximum loss explained

Both limits on the Stellar challenges are static and based on the initial balance: the maximum loss never trails, and the daily loss is a fixed share of the starting balance (5% on the 2-Step, so $5,000 a day on 100K). Floating losses and swaps count, and touching either limit breaches the account.

Stellar Instant is the exception. Its 6% maximum loss trails your highest balance and stops once it reaches the starting balance. On a $10,000 account the limit starts at $9,400; if your balance grows to $10,200, it moves to $9,600 and never comes back down. Since a payout lowers your balance but not the limit, every withdrawal shrinks your buffer. Instant has no daily loss limit. Our trailing drawdown guide explains the difference.

FundedNext Stellar 1-Step, Lite and Instant

  • Stellar 1-Step: a single phase with a 10% target, a 3% daily and 6% maximum loss, and 2 trading days. Funded accounts pay every 5 business days, and the fee is refunded with the third reward.
  • Stellar Lite: the cheapest model, with targets of 8% and 4%, a 4% daily and 8% maximum loss, and 2 trading days per phase (5 if you choose the faster payout options). It does not include the 15% challenge reward and uses the older scale-up plan.
  • Stellar Instant: no challenge at all. You trade a funded account from day one with a 6% trailing maximum loss, no daily loss limit and no consistency rule. Rewards start at 70% and rise to 80% as the account scales, the fee is never refunded, and you can hold at most $20,000 in Instant accounts.

Risk rules on the funded account

Two rules apply to every funded Stellar account and catch traders out:

  • 3% maximum risk: your potential loss across all open trades, based on stop losses and floating losses, may never exceed 3% of the initial balance at any time.
  • Quick Strike: less than 30% of your profit may come from trades closed within 30 seconds of opening.

FundedNext consistency rule

There is no consistency rule in the challenges or on the standard payout cycles. It only applies if you choose the on-demand payout option at checkout: then your best day may be at most 40% of total profit, and the account must be up at least 2%. Our consistency rule guide shows how other firms handle it.

News, weekends and other FundedNext rules

  • News: you can trade news freely in the challenge. On a funded Stellar account, only 40% of the profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact event counts toward your balance; losses count in full.
  • Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on all Stellar accounts; swaps count toward the daily loss.
  • EAs are allowed only on accounts below $50,000; larger accounts must be traded manually.
  • Copy trading between your own challenge accounts is allowed. It is not allowed between different people or on FundedNext Accounts.
  • Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader (TradingView for charts only). 100K and 200K accounts are not sold on cTrader or Match-Trader, and US traders can only use Match-Trader.
  • Allocation: unlimited challenges, but your funded Stellar accounts are capped at $300,000 in total.

FundedNext payout rules

On the Stellar 2-Step and Lite you choose one of three payout options at checkout, and it cannot be changed later:

OptionWhenShare
StandardAfter 21 days, then every 14 (2-Step); every 10 business days (Lite)80%
3 profitable daysAfter 3 days with at least 1% profit each60%
On demandOnce the account is up 2% and your best day is under 40% of profit90%

The Stellar 1-Step pays every 5 business days, and Stellar Instant on demand once the account is up 5% (checked at the end of the day) or every 14 days with at least 1% growth.

What is the maximum payout at FundedNext? The Stellar accounts have no payout cap; you can withdraw your full share every cycle. The limits come from the method you choose: bank transfer from $1,000 to $50,000 per request, card from $20 to $3,000, Rise from $50 with no maximum, and USDT or USDC with limits that depend on your country (as low as $200 in some). Every request carries a processing fee of up to 3.5%, set by the payment provider.

Requests are processed within 24 hours, and FundedNext promises to add $1,000 to your reward if it is late. The 2-Step fee is refunded with your first reward. Once you have 4 rewards, each with at least 4% growth, over at least 2 months, the account scales up by 25% at a time, up to $4 million, with a 90% share and a retroactive 15% reward on your challenge target (not for US traders). A Lifetime 95% add-on raises your share to 95% from the start.

FundedNext launched on March 18, 2022. It was founded by Abdullah Jayed and Abdullah Galib, and its services are provided by GrowthNext F.Z.E., registered in the Ajman Free Zone, UAE, with operations in the UAE and Bangladesh. It has more than 79,000 Trustpilot reviews and says it processes 99.99% of rewards within 24 hours.

Who FundedNext is for

Choose the Stellar 2-Step if you want static loss limits, no consistency rule on the standard cycle and your fee back with the first reward, and you can wait 21 days for the first payout. The 1-Step pays fastest but has a tight 6% maximum loss, Lite is the cheapest way in, and Instant suits traders who want to skip the challenge and can live with a trailing loss and a $20,000 cap. Whatever you choose, plan around the 3% open-risk limit and the 40% news rule on funded accounts.

FundedNext platforms

FundedNext supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Match-Trader. Approved trade copiers can be used to copy trades across your own accounts, but not between different traders.
