Our verdict
Best for traders who want a 90% split from the first payout, no activation fee and an end-of-day drawdown that does not reset when you withdraw, plus the option of very large payouts on Advanced. Plan for a monthly subscription, a 2-minute news rule on most funded accounts and a short list of platforms that does not include NinjaTrader or Tradovate.
Best for
- ✓Traders who want large single withdrawals: up to $15,000 per request on Advanced
- ✓Traders who want to pass in one day with no consistency rule (Zero)
- ✓Traders who want the Maximum Loss Limit to stay where it is after a payout
Not ideal for
- ✕NinjaTrader or Tradovate users: platforms are AlphaTrader, TradingView, WealthCharts, DeepCharts and Quantower
- ✕Traders who use bots or trade more than 100 times a day
- ✕Traders in restricted countries, which include Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey

How Alpha Futures works
Alpha Futures is a UK futures prop firm and part of Alpha Group, the company behind Alpha Capital. | Zero | Standard | Advanced | Direct | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sizes | 25K–100K | 50K–150K | 50K–150K | 25K–150K |
| Price | $89–$279/month | $129–$349/month | $209–$489/month | $349–$859 one-time |
| Evaluation consistency | None | 50% | 40% | No evaluation |
| Daily loss guard | Yes | Funded only | None | Yes |
| Funded consistency | 40% | 40% | None | 20% |
| Max withdrawal per request | $1,000–$2,500 | $3,000–$5,000 | $15,000 | $1,000–$3,000 |
| News rule when funded | 2 minutes | 2 minutes | None | 2 minutes |
Evaluations are monthly subscriptions that stop automatically when you pass. Alpha Futures regularly runs its own discount codes; when we checked, MYALPHA50 gave 50% off Standard, Direct and Advanced, and MYALPHA40 40% off Zero.
Alpha Futures rules
Alpha Futures Zero plan rules
| Account | Profit target | Max loss limit | Daily loss guard | Max contracts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $1,500 | $1,000 | $500 | 1 mini / 10 micros |
| $50K | $3,000 | $2,000 | $1,000 | 3 minis / 30 micros |
| $100K | $6,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | 6 minis / 60 micros |
Zero has no consistency rule in the evaluation, so you can pass in one day, and its activation fee is permanently $0. Once qualified, Zero adds a 40% consistency rule and a scaling plan on 50K and 100K.
Alpha Futures Standard and Advanced rules
| Account | Standard target / MLL | Advanced target / MLL | Max contracts |
|---|---|---|---|
| $50K | $3,000 / $2,000 | $4,000 / $1,750 | 5 minis / 50 micros |
| $100K | $6,000 / $3,000 | $8,000 / $3,500 | 10 minis / 100 micros |
| $150K | $9,000 / $4,500 | $12,000 / $5,250 | 15 minis / 150 micros |
Standard has no daily loss guard in the evaluation and a 50% consistency rule; once funded it adds a daily loss guard, a 40% consistency rule and a scaling plan. Advanced has higher targets and a 40% evaluation consistency rule, but once funded there is no daily loss guard, no consistency rule, no news rule and no scaling plan.
Alpha Futures drawdown rules
Every plan uses an end-of-day trailing Maximum Loss Limit based on your highest end-of-day balance, which stops trailing at the starting balance. Unlike many firms, Alpha Futures does not move the limit when you withdraw: if it was at $49,200 before a payout, it stays there. See our trailing drawdown guide for how end-of-day drawdowns work.
Trading hours, news and other rules
- Trading hours: 6 PM to 5 PM ET; close all trades by 4:20 PM ET each day.
- News: no restrictions on evaluations or Advanced funded accounts. On Zero, Standard and Direct funded accounts, no orders may be executed 2 minutes before or after high-impact (red folder) news.
- No bots, AI or full automation, and no strategies with more than 100 trades a day. Semi-automated signals are fine if you place trades yourself.
- Copy trading is allowed when you are the only person trading all the accounts.
- Inactivity: trade at least once every 10 trading days.
- Limits: up to 5 funded accounts each on Zero, Standard and Direct, and 3 on Advanced; one person per household.
Alpha Futures payout rules
On Zero, Standard and Advanced funded accounts you can withdraw up to 4 times a month, after every 5 winning days of $200 or more, with no fixed payout dates. Each request can be up to 50% of your profit, and you keep 90% of it.
| Plan | Minimum request | Maximum request | Funded consistency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zero | $200 | $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,500 | 40% |
| Standard | $500 | $3,000 / $4,000 / $5,000 | 40% |
| Advanced | $1,000 | $15,000 on every size | None |
| Direct | $500 | $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 | 20% |
Direct accounts skip the winning-day rule: you need a withdrawal profit target ($3,000 first, then $2,000 on 50K) and the 20% consistency rule. Payouts are paid in USD by ACH, wire/SWIFT, Wise or Rise.
Alpha Futures path to live
Alpha Futures' risk and Alpha Prime teams invite traders to live capital, for example after 5 payouts on one Qualified Account, large lifetime payouts or outstanding performance. Live traders get daily payouts, no consistency rule, no news restrictions and no maximum withdrawal, with an end-of-day drawdown. Moving to live closes your Qualified Accounts, and each account with at least one payout becomes a live account.
Is Alpha Futures legit?
Alpha Futures was founded in 2023 by George Kohler and is part of Alpha Group, whose co-founder Andrew Blaylock also runs Alpha Capital. It reports more than $70 million in performance fees paid and over 175,000 Qualified Analysts in 140+ countries, and its first traders moved to the Alpha Prime program in London in 2025. Its rules are published in a public help center, which we used for this review. Check the restricted country list before buying; it includes several EU states.
Who Alpha Futures is for
Alpha Futures suits futures traders who want a 90% split with no activation fee and an end-of-day drawdown that withdrawals don't tighten. Choose Zero to pass in one day cheaply, Standard for bigger caps, Advanced if you want withdrawals of up to $15,000 with no funded consistency or news rule, and Direct to skip the evaluation. Look elsewhere if you need NinjaTrader or Tradovate, use bots, or prefer a one-time fee for evaluations.
