Our verdict

One of the cleanest fee structures in futures prop trading: you pay once, there is no activation fee and no renewal. Rapid is the standout plan, with a 90/10 split and daily payouts, but its funded account uses an intraday trailing drawdown and you must build a buffer first. Choose Rapid EOD or Pro if you prefer an end-of-day drawdown.

Best for

  • ✓Traders who want to pay once, with no activation fee or monthly renewal
  • ✓Traders who want daily payouts at a 90/10 split (Rapid)
  • ✓Traders who copy trades across several accounts

Not ideal for

  • ✕Traders who hold positions after 4:10 PM ET or overnight
  • ✕News traders: funded accounts must be flat around tier 1 releases
  • ✕Traders who want a large first payout fast on Builder ($1,000–$2,000 caps)

How My Funded Futures works

Every MFFU plan follows the same three stages: an evaluation, a Sim Funded account where you are paid real money from simulated profits, and a Live account that the Risk Team offers to consistent traders. Since August 25, 2026 new evaluations are a one-time payment: no monthly renewal and no activation fee. When you meet the targets, you upgrade to Sim Funded from your dashboard.

My Funded Futures rules

My Funded Futures evaluation rules

All evaluations use an end-of-day trailing maximum loss limit (MLL): it moves up only when the account closes at a new high, but it is enforced in real time. The other rules depend on the plan.

Rapid (the most popular plan):

AccountProfit targetMax loss (EOD)Max contracts
$25K$1,500$1,0003 minis / 30 micros
$50K$3,000$2,0005 minis / 50 micros
$100K$6,000$3,0008 minis / 80 micros
$150K$9,000$4,50010 minis / 100 micros

Rapid has no daily loss limit, a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation only, a 2-day minimum, and tier 1 news trading is allowed while you are being evaluated.

  • Rapid EOD: same targets and loss limits, but fewer contracts (2 minis on $25K, 3 on $50K), a 30% consistency rule and a 4-day minimum.
  • Builder: can be passed in 1 day with no consistency rule in the evaluation. It has a $1,000 daily loss limit that pauses trading for the day rather than failing you, and the $50K version lets you choose a $2,000 or $1,500 max loss at checkout.
  • Pro: 50% consistency and 2 days minimum (a one-day $50K add-on has no consistency rule and a $4,000 target).

My Funded Futures drawdown rules

The evaluation drawdown is always end-of-day, but the funded drawdown depends on the plan:

  • Rapid Sim Funded uses an intraday trailing max loss that follows your equity high-water mark, including open profit, at a fixed distance ($2,000 on $50K). Our trailing drawdown guide explains why this is stricter.
  • Rapid EOD, Builder and Pro keep an end-of-day trailing max loss.
  • On Rapid and Rapid EOD the trailing limit locks once it reaches $100 (Sim Funded accounts start at a $0 balance), so you must always keep at least $100 in the account. On Pro, the limit becomes static at the starting balance plus $100 after your first payout.

Trading hours, news and other rules

  • No overnight positions. You can trade from the 6:00 PM ET Globex open; open positions are closed automatically at 4:10 PM ET.
  • News: funded accounts may have no positions or working orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after tier 1 releases, and strategies designed to exploit news spikes (such as straddles) are prohibited on every account.
  • Copy trading is allowed on all account types, including Tradovate's group copier and Tradesyncer.
  • Inactivity: on one-time payment accounts, including Sim Funded, going 7 consecutive calendar days without a trade can get the account closed. Tell support in advance if you are going on holiday.

My Funded Futures payout rules

On Rapid the buffer is $3,100 on $100K and $4,600 on $150K. MFFU says most payout requests are approved instantly; manual reviews can take 6–12 business hours on weekdays.

My Funded Futures live account payout rules

Live accounts are by invitation. On Pro, a review is triggered by three consecutive payouts, $20,000 in profit or reaching the $100,000 payout cap. A live account is a real brokerage account with a static drawdown, a daily loss limit you can set yourself, and a withdrawal schedule agreed with the Risk Team. On Rapid, up to $5,000 of your Sim Funded profit is held in a Reserve Program when you move to live and is paid as a performance bonus once you reach 20 profitable live days and $10,000 in live payouts.

Is My Funded Futures legit?

MyFundedFutures says it has paid more than $250 million to traders and that over 75% of payout requests are approved automatically. Its rules, payout examples and fee policies are published in a detailed public help center, which we used for this review, and it runs an active community Discord with a live feed of recent payouts. Traders must pass KYC checks before being paid.

As with every prop firm, evaluation and Sim Funded accounts are simulated: you are paid real money from simulated profits until you are invited to a live account.
