Cost: My Funded Futures vs Take Profit Trader
My Funded Futures sells one-time evaluations with no activation fee. Take Profit Trader bills its Test as a monthly subscription with a $130 activation fee. Both publish their own codes: MFFU's homepage advertised CLUB for 40% off any plan on October 25, 2026, and TPT's NOFEE40 takes 40% off the monthly price for the life of the account and waives the activation fee.
| 50K account | MFFU Rapid | Take Profit Trader |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation, list price | $209 one-time | $170 per month |
| Evaluation with a code (Oct 25, 2026) | $125.40 (CLUB) | $102 per month (NOFEE40) |
| Activation fee | None | $130 (waived with NOFEE40) |
| Pass in one month, with a code | $125.40 | $102 |
| Pass in two months, with a code | $125.40 | $204 |
| Pass in one month, list price | $209 | $300 |
With both codes, Take Profit Trader is cheaper if you pass in the first month, and MFFU is cheaper from the second month on, because its price does not recur. At list prices MFFU is cheaper. Codes change, so check the price at checkout.
Rules and drawdown
| 50K evaluation | MFFU Rapid | Take Profit Trader |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $3,000 | $3,000 |
| Maximum drawdown | $2,000, end-of-day trailing | $2,000, end-of-day trailing |
| Daily loss limit | None | None |
| Max contracts | 5 minis | 6 minis |
| Consistency rule | Best day below 50% of profit | Best day below 50% of profit |
| Minimum days | 2 | 3 |
The evaluations are almost the same. So is the main catch: both switch to an intraday trailing drawdown on their main funded account (MFFU Rapid and TPT PRO), which follows open profit in real time. MFFU gives you a way out: its Rapid EOD, Builder and Pro plans keep an end-of-day drawdown once funded. See our trailing drawdown guide.
