The short answer

Tradeify is the safer all-round pick: a one-time fee, an end-of-day drawdown on funded accounts, a 90% split and no news rules. Take Profit Trader is better if your priority is withdrawing everything you make, daily and with no cap, and you can handle its intraday drawdown in PRO.

Choose Tradeify if

  • ✓You want an end-of-day drawdown in the funded account, not intraday
  • ✓You want to pay once instead of monthly: $165, or $115.50 with GEMS
  • ✓You want 90% of payouts from the first one
  • ✓You trade news, which Tradeify does not restrict

Choose Take Profit Trader if

  • ✓You want daily withdrawals from day one with no maximum
  • ✓You pass quickly: the first month is $102 with NOFEE40 and no activation fee
  • ✓You want a looser evaluation consistency rule (50% instead of 40%)
  • ✓You use Quantower, MotiveWave, MultiCharts or Bookmap

Cost: Tradeify vs Take Profit Trader

Tradeify sells one-time evaluations with no activation fee. Take Profit Trader bills its Test as a monthly subscription and charges a $130 activation fee when you pass. Both firms run their own sitewide codes: Tradeify's GEMS takes 30% off evaluations until October 31, 2026, and TPT's NOFEE40 takes 40% off the monthly price for the life of the account and waives the activation fee.

Pass in two months, with a code$115.50$204

With both codes, Take Profit Trader is slightly cheaper if you pass in the first month, and Tradeify is cheaper from the second month on, because its price does not recur. At list prices Tradeify is far cheaper. Codes change, so check the price at checkout.

The evaluations are close: the same target, drawdown and minimum days, with no daily loss limit at either firm. TPT allows two more contracts and has the looser consistency rule unless you buy Tradeify's 50% add-on.

The difference is in the funded account. Tradeify keeps an end-of-day trailing drawdown on every funded account. Take Profit Trader's PRO account switches to an intraday trailing drawdown, which follows open profit in real time until it reaches the starting balance. Our trailing drawdown guide explains why that matters.

If you want to pass in one day, Tradeify's Growth evaluation has no consistency rule but adds a soft daily loss limit. TPT always needs three days.

Max funded accounts555

Both firms can pay daily, in different ways. Take Profit Trader has no payout cap, but you first have to build a buffer equal to the drawdown, and you keep 80%. Tradeify pays 90% from the first payout and needs no buffer, but caps each request. On Tradeify funded accounts the microscalping rule also applies: most of your trades and profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.

Both have a live stage by invitation: TPT's PRO+ (90/10, end-of-day drawdown, no buffer) and Tradeify Elite, for which Tradeify cites three approved payouts as the milestone.

Platforms and trading rules

Both firms support NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView. Tradeify adds Tradesea and WealthCharts; Take Profit Trader adds Quantower, MotiveWave, MultiCharts and Bookmap, with Rithmic or CQG data.

  • News: Tradeify has no news rules. TPT PRO accounts must be flat from one minute before to one minute after FOMC, NFP and CPI.
  • Overnight positions: neither allows them. Close by 4:45 PM ET at Tradeify and 4:55 PM ET at TPT.
  • Trade copiers: both allow trade copiers; TPT limits them to your own accounts.
  • Bots: Take Profit Trader does not allow trading bots.

Trust and track record

Tradeify says it has paid more than $350 million to traders and reports a 0% payout denial rate; its affiliated broker, Tradeify Brokerage LLC, is a CFTC-registered introducing broker and NFA member, according to Tradeify. Take Profit Trader is led by founder and CEO James Sixsmith and routes orders through Rithmic, CQG/Tradovate and NinjaTrader. We could not verify either firm's founding year from official sources.

Both firms publish their rules in detailed public help centers, which we used for this comparison.

Bottom line

Pick Tradeify if you want a one-time price, an end-of-day drawdown once funded, a 90% split from the first payout and no news rules. Pick Take Profit Trader if you want to withdraw everything above the buffer, daily and with no cap, you are comfortable with an intraday drawdown in PRO and you expect to pass within a month.
