Standard or No Activation Fee?
The promo code cuts the evaluation price but not the activation fee you pay after passing, so the cheaper route depends on the discount and how long you take to pass. Total cost to a funded account with one pass in the first month:
- 50K Standard: $190.65 with the activation fee, against $80.75 for No Activation Fee. No Activation Fee is cheaper.
- 100K Standard: $233.15 with the activation fee, against $126.65 for No Activation Fee. No Activation Fee is cheaper.
- 150K Standard: $318.15 with the activation fee, against $194.65 for No Activation Fee. No Activation Fee is cheaper.
If you expect to fail and buy again, the version with an activation fee costs less per attempt, because you only pay that fee once you pass.
What the promo code covers
- Referral and creator codes work only on your first Topstep purchase. If you have bought from Topstep before, they won't apply.
- On a monthly Trading Combine the discount covers the first month only, unless Topstep says otherwise; renewals bill at the full price.
- The $149 activation fee on the Standard path is charged after you pass, so a first-purchase code never reduces it.
- Codes are case-sensitive and tied to your profile: log in before applying a code, don't create a second profile, and enter the code without spaces.
- Topstep does not refund purchases where a code wasn't applied, or full-price purchases made before a sale.
Topstep reset prices
A reset restarts a failed evaluation. Reset prices on October 27, 2026:
- Standard: $49 (50K), $99 (100K), $199 (150K)
- No Activation Fee: $95 (50K), $149 (100K), $229 (150K)
Topstep discount codes on Reddit and coupon sites
Codes shared on Reddit and Discord are traders' referral codes. Topstep lets traders post them publicly, but each one lasts 90 days and works only on a first purchase, which is why so many old ones fail.
Coupon sites advertise 50% to 70% off Topstep. We found no such public code on Topstep's site or help center; the official discounts are the ones listed on this page, plus occasional Topstep sales.
How to use Topstep promo codes
- Copy the referral code from the top of this page.
- Sign up at Topstep (the code is for traders who have never bought from Topstep) and open your Dashboard.
- Click Start a Trading Combine, choose the Standard or No Activation Fee path and the account size, and confirm your address.
- Enter the code under Coupons & Payment, click Apply and check the discount before you pay.

Can I combine two Topstep discount codes?+
No. Topstep allows one discount per purchase. The only combination it allows is a creator code on a first purchase together with the Responsible Trading Discount on a No Activation Fee Trading Combine.
